For business or for pleasure, one of my favorite forms of creative expression is often discovered when I’m behind the lens of a camera. Whether it be my favorite digital SLR, my iPhone, or even video and stills taken from a camera equipped drone. I love using the latest technology to capture people and places in the best light possible. I also enjoy capturing the beauty of nature, architecture, cityscapes, and of course the true to life candid of people in and around all these marvelous places. Some of my favorite scenes to capture have often been found up in the majestic mountains that I’ve been able to hike or the various cities and shorelines that I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to travel through. I’m fascinated with capturing scenes from unique and intriguing viewpoints such as the aerial shots we can now capture using drones. I love to push the limits for what can be captured in a single scene by using the latest camera technology, editing tools, and techniques.

Cover and Feature for Business Solutions Magazine
Mike Linton is currently the CEO at IT solutions provider VLCM and is a valued StorageCraft partner. Mike and company earned a special four-page feature in Business Solutions Magazine. I was privileged to help Mike with the photography for this cover shot as well as various other videos that we had produced with his team.
Corporate Headshots
As part of the StorageCraft corporate website redesign, I captured headshots of the entire executive team and had them presented in the “About” section of the website. The team was overwhelmingly pleased with the results.
London Cityscape from the Sky Garden
There is this stunning panoramic view of London England from 525 feet in the air which can be seen from the beautiful garden covered top floor (Sky Garden) of the famous 20 Frenchurch sky scraper (aka The Walkie Talkie) where you can see many of the world renown landmarks of London. From left to right, some of the most notable are the iconic Victorian turreted Tower Bridge, the HMS Belfast (now a floating museum on a Royal Navy cruiser), and unmistakably, that enormous 802-foot tower across the channel which is reaching right up into the clouds would be the Shard.
The Legendary Yosemite Valley
As you drive out of a long tunnel you are suddenly struck with this jaw-dropping view. Particularly during the golden hour, you will undoubtedly see dozens of people lined up along the roadside trying their best to capture what they are seeing. Instead of getting stuck within the hoard of people, I hiked up the mountainside across the road toward a lookout called Inspiration Point and found my inspiration for this. I captured this using eight separate images with exposures one stop apart. Then I tone mapped each one for optimal localized contrast and merged them using all my favorite HDR (High Dynamic Range) techniques. The result is an image that has an astounding range of color, luminosity, and radiance that is more true to how the scene could be observed in the real world.
Needhams Point Barbados
On the south-east side of the Caribbean sea is the island of Barbados and this ultra-wide panoramic view of a 17th century English fort beside this amazingly quiet and peaceful stretch of shoreline. All you can hear and feel is a warm breeze and the steady flow of crystal clear water gently breaking along the sandy beach.
Scout Lake High Uintas
At 10,400 feet, this cool and pristine lake sits at the top of the High Uintas and is located inside a privately held camp by the BSA called Camp Steiner. The water there is about as clean and pure as they come, however way too chilly for a nice afternoon swim, no matter what summer day you may be spending there. However, it is one of the best stocked lakes in the Uinta National Forest, so if you're up to some fishing for some rainbow trout, then this is the place for you. This lake holds some special meaning to me because this is where my son caught his first fish.
